One final update before I throw in the towel (for the time being), maintaining the code to this website is a bit of a disorganized headache.

I can't reasonably expect myself to develop at the same rate as before, especially while reducing my dependence on Copilot.

Asking Copilot is cool and all, but it takes away from the experience, when I ask it to generate pages on-the-fly.

Plus, I have a research project to handle by January 5, immediately when school resumes.

And because of my recent successes in Gacha Life rigging, I might divert more of my attention to animation instead

So I'm declaring a break from the website, give myself some fresh air, and maybe come back not burnt out from coding, but from animating.

If you want updates on me after January 3, then sorry, I've got nothing for you as I'm not very active in social media.

I caught @junglisolcy taunting my shorts feed again with the infamous wake-up short I first saw in September 10. The 'Teto Word of the Day' landscape has never been the same since @tetocouncil's channel has vanished.

Really, there exists no trace of her "Word of the Day" shorts, and the "Teto Council Decides Your Fate" short series.

I had the unfortunate experience of seeing her latest short, with the word of the day being 'eggs'. She... laid an egg out-of-frame, and showcased a breakfast. Made with. Cooked eggs. Milk. And 'tail-meat'. And I just noticed a fellow engaging in 'Soldier Teto' (who is indeed a character in the jungliverse) roleplay in his replies by demanding pushups, for the holy mission of warding off indecent commenters.

During my 1 AM paranoia and delusion I wrote an entire SCP article dedicated to this channel's existence, and sent it to my friends by 3 AM. No one reacted.

Also, I've had ideas for what to animate/post on YouTube next time! They were good and made me happy for a moment, I've been having a lack of creative aspirations lately. That is, until I started to work on it.

Now the recurring problem is that actually setting up the animation rig is a massive chore involving the following steps:

1.     Develop OC in Gacha Life, or Gacha Nebula through BlueStacks emulation.

2.     Screenshot the separated limbs and pass them through GIMP, to split into individual images.

3.     Import all individual images as mesh planes in Blender, parent and weight them to their corresponding bones.

4.     Set up the Shader Nodes for the left and right irises, to accomodate pupil dilation and eye movement, while also remaining resilient to Y-axis scaling of the eye itself (to allow squints).

5.     Super epic and brand new step! Use steps 1-3 on every hand, eye, and mouth shape (including left and right variants) you want to include in your animation, separate them to different collections, then set up a master plane that uses Geometry Nodes and drivers to control what mesh in a collection is displayed, based on the rotation of a dedicated control bone.

And once I manage to do that for upwards of 7 OCs (necessary to recreate the 'Heavy is Dead' meme in Gacha Life), I need to learn to animate and actually make them move naturally, even if they have studio-level animation technology.

I just perused a bit of Neocities for a while with the tag 'diary' at random sort, to procrastinate working on my research project and Gacha Rig development, and by God did I see the internet.

There was this one site that was about a lesbian (or the author's bisexual but thinks --- secretly lesbian, that's what ---- says at least), I've never thoroughly finished the wall of text written during the old times of July 2020, but I managed to glean the fact that ---- was in the US at the time, and was planning (or interested) to move to Korea + a morale boost from ---- first follower on Neocities.

Wait am I using pronouns correctly? Probably not, let me leave 'em blank for now.

Another is a site with a singular entry written in March 2021 by a 'trans demiboy' (what the hell is that I love the internet) with eating issues, which he/it specifies (these were the pronouns he detailed) aren't an eating disorder. The first paragraphs detail his dissatisfaction with his body (to put it lightly) and issues with bingeing, suggesting obesity.

The final part of that singular entry was him choosing a Hi-C over some Coke and hoping to improve from there (among other things). Holy hell is that a cliffhanger, pure cinema (sorry hope he's doing okay).

I don't want to link them here in case this site blows up or something (I intend to work on this for a lot longer than they did), and they come back to a million people looking at their vents.

Now onto other appended matters, the ukelele BIRDBRAIN cover has reached 2.3k views! Yippee! I left a celebratory comment there, planning to update the viewcount as I'm able to. If my anxiety ever skyrockets I'll just delete it, no permanent worries. I'll delay other entries to other days to keep the organization.

So I just happened upon a 'bad' ukelele cover of BIRDBRAIN by Jamie Paige, it's fucking cute and you MUST listen to it here to get my point. Currently planning to repeat this on loop for an hour to make the algorithm know (800 views at time of writing).

And also "A Very Wholesome UTAU Song Where Nothing Sad Happens" by @jdAlcantara here, much cuter and hit closer to home than Aggrandicize, so it managed another stimboost. For about 10 minutes it had the effects noted in December 22, then I succumbed to the 11 PM drowsiness and I resumed normal levels of enjoyment.

Edit 11/28/2025 10:30 PM: Nope, disregard the above, it still keeps me awake and I still want to hug the lyrics.

Imagine my face when I checked @jdAlcantara's channel to find more peak, and found the "Generic Emo Song" from many years ago (woah Copilot stop autocompleting my personal comments jeeez).

She's got a tendency to offer help with things that aren't code so excuse my irritation.

Also @JungliSolcy shorts are still 60% not fun, the comments on some of them are borderline roleplaying (why do you heart them), and judging from certain comments, Instragram makes this seem like intellectual chatter. I only watch them because of curiosity, hoping whatever I click on doesn't involve Teto putting me in the trunk of her car for some 'fun' ('be a good boy and sit tight')

"Ok, so we got kidnapped, get soldier Teto PLEASE!" - comment with 1.5k likes.

I cannot emphasize enough how much this song has me paralyzed listening to this over and over again, it is 1 AM already. I can't imagine sleeping without her singing these lines into my ear. Everything about it is too intoxicating, I want to hug the lyrics like a soft pillow and sleep forever and ever and ever.

Finally returned to working on this website... sure took a while to get anything done.

I also discovered Aggrandicize by Jamie Paige, or at least just the cover by meowonaise. My usual policy for new Vocaloid songs that appear in my Recommended is to stuff them in my Watch Later for containment, so I saw this video around a week before today.

The video is too sweet, and the lyrics hit too close to home, brings back memories to when I discovered Shayne Orok (or whatever they're called now), jomm, and kyuuwaii in December of last year.

Those memories also include that lovely 'incident', and the strong guilty feeling of being unable to create anything, so I'm hesitant to listen to it repeatedly.

Anyway our schedule this Tuesday was compressed, each subject is now 45 minutes, lunch break has been reduced from an hour-and-fifteen to 45 minutes as well. Now we're dismissed at 2:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM. They say it's practice time for the Intramurals this coming Friday to Saturday.

For the extra hour that I spent after 2:30 PM (there was supposed to be a Unit meeting), I spent it playing chess against -------. I lost.

@JungliSolcy is appearing more and more in the Shorts section of my Recommended, replacing @tetocouncil. She/he makes Teto shorts, voiced by Talkloid Teto (I probably can't afford that, won't bother even checking what it even is).

The animation is pretty simple, and it would be a cool replacement for @tetocouncil, who announced that she/he was unable to make shorts daily anymore. Except some are not so wholesome and in fact could be classified as ----.

One animation featured Talkloid Teto (yes I am specifying the software, UTAU Teto is 'canonically' separate from Talkloid Teto) attempting to wake up the viewer. Her final attempt was announcing that breakfast was fresh... chimera milk. Guess what 'species' she is.

It's not offensive or anything, any other person might enjoy it normally, it's just embarrassing; The equivalent of watching ---- of your comfort character.
