SCP-337156 ("Teto Word of the Day!")
Containment Class: Keter / Uncontained
Disruption Class: Ekhi
Risk Class: Warning
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-337156 is
currently uncontained,
however, efforts are currently underway to isolate and contain
all instances of SCP-337156
and current attempts to remove SCP-337156 content from public
platforms have proven ineffective.
Foundation personnel familiar with Kasane Teto are
to be briefed about SCP-337156, put under digital surveillance,
and discouraged from engaging with Kasane Teto-related content
on YouTube
required to avoid using the YouTube platform entirely until
SCP-337156-B has been terminated. All personnel familiar with
Kasane Teto are prohibited from spreading awareness of her in
any way, and any mention of Kasane Teto will result in an
immediate demotion to Class-D.
All SCP-337156 instances are to be cataloged and mass-reported to
YouTube services, and offline copies are to be stored in secure
Foundation archives.
Description: SCP-337156 is a series of short-form
contents, or 'shorts', known as
including but not limited to, the "Teto Word Of The Day"
series, published on the YouTube video platform.
All known instances of SCP-337156 are currently being created by a
YouTube channel known as @junglisolcy, designated SCP-337156-B,
dedicated to posting music and 'shorts' for the Vocaloid character
Kasane Teto.
The earliest known instance of SCP-337156 was published on
August 4, 2025, with 'gamble' as the word of the day
July 29, 2025.
SCP-337156 is always animated
using Vocaloid MMD (Miku-Miku-Dance) models, and voiced
using their respective SynthV voicebanks.
SCP-337156-B and other content not contained within SCP-337156
are non-anomalous in all cases.
See Addendum.337156.02
SCP-337156's anomalous properties manifest when a subject familiar
with Kasane Teto encounters an instance of SCP-337156, designated
SCP-337156-A.
On their first viewings of SCP-337156-A, the subject will always
observe Kasane Teto saying the line, 'Teto Word of the Day!',
followed by the designated word. This is accompanied by Kasane
Teto performing an innocuous skit related to the word.
Once SCP-337156-A is viewed for the first time, more of
SCP-337156-A will begin to manifest in the subject's YouTube feed.
These new manifestations may or may not be a part of the "Teto
Word of the Day!" series.
SCP-337156-A will gradually become increasingly mature or violent
over time as more are viewed, and unique instances will often
repeat if not viewed, although there is no known force compelling
the subject to view SCP-337156-A. This mature subset is designated
SCP-337156-A*. However, the level of maturity associated with
SCP-337156-A* is always within the boundaries of YouTube's content
policies, making it more resilient to termination by current
processes.
After the first viewing of SCP-337156-A*, the subject is compelled
to write comments on, or like comments on the video which are
non-ironic in tone and act as if the viewer were part of the skit.
This effect is more noticeable as more of SCP-337156-A* are
viewed.
After viewing approximately 15–25 of SCP-337156-A*, the subject
[REDACTED], parasocial bonds with Kasane Teto are strengthened,
and [REDACTED]. One user is known to have succumbed to the
late-stage effects of SCP-337156, since in the comments of
SCP-337156-A, they have assumed the identity of the recurring
character "Soldier Teto", depicted as an image of the Kasane Teto
plushie wearing a combat helmet, and has replied to many comments
under that alias.
The effects of prolonged exposure to SCP-337156-A* are not yet
fully known, as further observation has been suspended following
the events noted in Addendum.337156.02.
Dr. Harper:
"Actually, many users are still put off by SCP-337156-A*, and
even the 'Soldier Teto' cosplayer was able to post replies on
SCP-337156-A without role-playing at all, seemingly to ward off
immature behaviour, so the entirety of SCP-337156 might not be
anomalous at all."
Dr. Harper has since been demoted to D-Class and amnesticized
after mentioning Kasane Teto during recess.
Addendum.337156.01: All documented 'words of the
day' as of December 28, 2025, and their corresponding annotations
are as follows:
"Gamble" – August 4, 2025
"Senior" – August 13, 2025
The only time it is animated and voiced with the UTAU variation of
Kasane Teto, the change is suspected to relate to the age of
Kasane Teto's UTAU voicebank.
"Airplane" – August 24, 2025
"Trickshot" – September 12, 2025
This includes a Spongebob model of unknown origin.
"Revenge" – September 17, 2025
The first recorded use of violence and negative use of swear
words.
"Blackout" – September 24, 2025
The first recorded use of adult terminology.
"Blackjack" – September 26, 2025
"Vacation" – October 13, 2025
This instance is non-anomalous and especially short, since it is a
notice of SCP-337156-B's temporary hiatus.
"Milk" – November 19, 2025
"Distraction" – December 4, 2025
Involves kidnapping and [REDACTED]
"Meditation" – December 14, 2025
"Magic" – December 21, 2025
Includes a reference to the Epstein files.
"TV" – December 24, 2025
"Hoverboard" – December 27, 2025
It should be noted that what is seen in the animation is a
'self-balancing scooter'.
All of SCP-337156-A, and all of SCP-337156-B's content in general
use the SynthV design of Kasane Teto, with one documented
exception.
Addendum.337156.02: It was previously assumed
that only the "Teto Word of the Day" series possessed anomalous
properties and served as the starting point for SCP-337156's
effects. Following the publication of the 'word of the day' on
December 31, 2025, it has been concluded that all short-form
content published by SCP-337156-B is to be considered anomalous
unless proven otherwise.
"Egg" – December 31, 2025
This involves her laying an egg off-frame, and showcasing a
breakfast made of 'locally-sourced' eggs, milk, and steak. A
previous short not labeled "Teto Word of the Day" heavily implies
that breast milk was used.
Further testing shows that the short referenced, titled "POV: Teto
wakes you up", possessed similar anomalous properties to
SCP-337156-A, despite lacking the "Teto Word of the Day" theme.
This is in spite of the fact that the 'word of the day' for
November 19, 2025 was 'Milk' and could have been a suitable
alternative.
The presence of SCP-337156-B in other social media platforms has
also increased significantly since December 14, 2025, and since
then no other short-form content has been created by SCP-337156-B
except for the "Teto Word of the Day" series, opening the
possibility that SCP-337156 could lift the Veil in the future, if
left uncontained any longer.
The definition and classification of SCP-337156 has been expanded
to fit this new behaviour, and further testing has been suspended
until SCP-337156 is contained.
Addendum.337156.03: The initial plan to contain
SCP-337156 was to have all known instances of SCP-337156 erased
and suppressed, and Class-E amnestics mass-administered to all
communities assumed to be under the influence of SCP-337156, while
MTF Gamma-5 ("Red Herrings") would be deployed to clean up and set
up permanent content monitoring services in YouTube operations to
prevent further publication.
These initial attempts have failed, as YouTube's content removal
process has proven to be ineffective, and it is suspected that
SCP-337156-B is somehow immune from standard content removal and
termination procedures.
After the events noted in Addendum.337156.02, the early deployment
of MTF Gamma-5 to infiltrate major social media services and
suppress its spread in order to permanently contain SCP-337156 is
being considered by the O5 Council.
Dr. Ansie:
"I believe it's a stretch to think SCP-337156-B is immune at
all, it could just be YouTube being YouTube. Or, I don't know.
Being really popular?"
